Ryan and Sarah Williams both grew up in the Yakima Valley and were married in 2018. Ryan has been riding since he was a child and started breaking colts and day working at a young age. Since then, Ryan has had the opportunity to learn from and ride with some great trainers that have greatly expanded his natural horsemanship. He showed steers but did not come from a ranching background. He has worked extremely hard to own cattle and obtain land for them to graze on. Sarah was introduced to this way of life when she met Ryan, and has adapted to working cattle, long days of riding, and life full of hard, but fulfilling work. Sawyer and Danielle have since joined and life has only gotten busier!

Ranching and horses have always been a passion for Ryan. Over the past years we have been able to continue to grow our horse program and follow this dream of building our own cow/calf operation. Raising quality horses that have nice bone, solid conformation, and good minds along with foundation bloodlines is a passion for Flying R. Seeing the foals we have raised go and excel in the arena in multiple disciplines is what makes it worth it! Our days are often consumed with working and caring for our cattle, which we have enjoyed using our own horses for as they come of age.

Growing our beef program has been so rewarding as we put a lot of time and effort into our cattle throughout their lives. We spend most of our days caring for mother cows and calving healthy babies, ensuring they live their life nourished on thousands of acres of pasture in the moderate winters of Moxee, and cooler summers in the Cascade Mountains. The love and time that is poured into our calves has always been a clear vision of Ryan's from his childhood. We value being able to finish our cattle, starting from the day they are born until the day they leave. Knowing they lived fulfilled lives, and tasting delicious on top of it, is why we do what we do.
